Acupuncture Needle Show & Tell

In this video, I show what an acupuncture needle looks like. The needles are surgical steel and used one time only, so there is no chance of contamination.

The most common question I get is “Does acupuncture hurt?” because people have had very painful experiences at the doctor’s office. Needles used for injections or blood draws are much wider, and contain a hollow space to either inject a substance or draw blood. Acupuncture needles do not have a hollow space, and are therefore WAY smaller and finer.
